Visitors to our museum and gallery will have noticed our well-priced £5 option for combined entry and photo-pass (upskirt photography not permitted). With this you can snap away until your heart is content or your memory card is full and then return home and look at your pictures on a tiny screen. And then delete them.

Isn't there another way to engage with the collection? Might there not be a different way of seeing things? Could you take something home with you other than data memories? We can remember it for you wholesale.

The Last Tuesday Society's Drawing Club is an unrivalled opportunity to engage with your creative spirits in an environment guaranteed to stir the artist within. Each two-hour session will involve life models interacting with the shop's unique collection of objects to produce unforgettable tableaux of beauty, decay and moral degradation. The bottoms will be plump, the fruit will be rotten and the empty gin bottles will most certainly be Hendricks.

All necessary equipment will be provided. Numbers strictly limited. Early application most strongly advised!

Sebastian Lowsley-Williams
Sebastian Lowsley-Williams has been leading formal drawing and painting workshops since 1996. Often working with wide ranging groups of people in the open air and in diverse places such as Northumberland, Spain and Morrocco.

The experience gave the impetus to start Drawing Club which has been running in London since 2007 as an informal weekly meeting in often bizarre as well as intimate places; a boat, the park, a squatted fire station, abandoned buildings, an art space as well as peoples homes. The dynamic settings celebrate the spaces as well as give 'permission' to draw in the World which lies in contrast to traditional life drawing sessions. Drawing from life, literally and conceptually, is the basis for his work.

He has funded his drawing practice by painting to commission; Formal portraits and landscapes in oil. Many commissions have involved often large scale murals, notably Sylvester Stallone's home in Miami as well as the BBC headquarters in Westminster. He is currently working on a mural project in St Pauls Church in the Olympic Village parish, Stratford, drawing on and working with the local community.

Sebastian is a personable and encouraging teacher who will meet the needs of individuals. He goes by the saying 'Who can draw can see'. In this spirit he wishes to stimulate perception whilst sharing the tools of the trade.
